Biography
Zane is the the original darkness that predates Creation. Neither an Angel or a Demon, Zane is something different as his very presence causes Demon to cease and Downworlders to feel sick. This has lead Shadowhunters to believe he has some sort of sacred power different from Angelic Power. His name is simply what the first Shadowhunter he met call him.
